京都の老舗茶問屋・宇治香園がプロデュースする、お茶と光と音を結びつける《Tealightsound》シリーズも早いもので今年で10周年。おめでとうございます。その記念となる最新作は、東京在住の音楽家、服部峻（はっとり・じゅん）の『Cha No Mori』。クリスタルボウル／シンギングボウルを想起させる透明な共鳴音と野鳥の鳴き声が夢の中の出来事のように交錯する本作は、吉村弘を筆頭にした80年代ミサワホームのサウンドスケープ・シリーズに収蔵されていても全く違和感がない、いわゆる日本の「環境音楽」の極めて正統性の高い王道で傑作。MUST!!

東京在住の音楽家 服部峻（ハットリジュン）が、茶をテーマにした神秘的なアンビエント作品を京都の茶問屋より発表

東京在住の作曲家 服部峻が、茶をテーマに制作したアンビエント作品『Cha No Mori』を京都の老舗茶問屋、宇治香園”Tealightsound”より発表する。京都の森の中の茶園でのフィールドレコーディングを中心に、様々な音色が木霊する全1曲35分のアルバムで、入眠時の意識の変化や夢、宇宙、風、水といったテーマを、神秘的な音像の中で穏やかに展開している。

また、今作のアートワークは松井寛治、写真を成田舞、デザインを佐々木暁が担当している。

Tokyo-based composer HATTORI Jun releases his ambient work “Cha No Mori,” inspired by the world of tea, on Tealightsound, the music label of Kyoto’ s long-established tea merchant Ujikoen. This 35-minute, single-track album is built around field recordings captured in a tea garden deep within Kyoto’s forests, with layers of tones that gently resonate. Within this mystical soundscape, themes such as shifts in consciousness before sleep, dreams, the universe, wind, and water unfold in a tranquil, meditative flow.

東京在住の作曲家・映像も手がける。今までにアルバム３作『UNBORN』（2013）、『MOON』（2015）、『NOISE』（2021）を発表し、微分音を取り入れたディープ・クラシカルかつアヴァンギャルドな作風が業界から注目を浴びる。

2025年にネットレーベル DEATHLOVEを立ち上げ、コンピレーションアルバム『写真音楽』をリリースした。現在、自身初監督の映画『KABUKICHO』を制作中。

HATTORI Jun is a Tokyo-based composer and filmmaker.

He has released three albums — UNBORN (2013), MOON (2015), and NOISE (2021) — and is known for his deep, classical, and avant-garde style that incorporates microtonal elements.

In 2025, he founded the net label DEATHLOVE and released the compilation album Shashin Ongaku. He is currently directing his first feature film, KABUKICHO.
音楽家コメント

実際にお伺いした山奥にある茶園にて、フィールドレコーディングした鳥たちの声音を軸に、「夢」や「水」、「意識」や「宇宙」などなど、言語化できないものを詰め込みました。最初と最後で徐々に異なっていく、神秘的な作品にしようと思いました。茶園から、そんなインスピレーションを受けました。お茶を飲みながら、または何か作業をしながら聴いていただきたいです。不思議とリラックスしながらも、捗ると思います。そうなったらいいなと思って作りました。この文章も、『Cha No Mori』を聴きながら書いています。（服部峻）

While recording in a secluded tea garden deep in the mountains, I captured the voices of birds and built this piece around their sounds. Into it, I poured things that can’t quite be put into words — dreams, water, consciousness, the universe.

I wanted the music to feel mysterious, gently shifting from beginning to end, just like the inspiration I felt in that garden.

I’ d love for you to listen while enjoying a cup of tea, or perhaps while working.
Somehow, I think it will help you relax and stay focused at the same time — that was my hope while creating it. Even as I write these words, I’m listening to Cha No Mori.
